Remember to include a title and a signature with all your notes (see § 6).
2) Illustrations
NABU is a not-for-profit scientific quarterly journal.
Authors must ensure that they have all the necessary rights to reproduce the images. By sending illustrations, photos, plans, maps etc., the authors of the notes affirm that they have verified this point. They cite the origin of their illustration as required. The responsibility in case of dispute remains with the author of the note.
The authors of the notes retain all rights to the illustrations produced by them.
The transliterations are in unicode font (Architype/Times New Roman, size 9). If you want the spacing to be respected, send us your transliterations according to this formatting.
Please do not use Semiramis which uses different half brackets ⸢…⸣!
- utilisez ₁ ₂ ₃ ₄ ₅ ₆ ₇ ₈ ₉ ₀
The NABU editorial staff does not accept manuscripts that use the Word footnote feature. If you need to add notes to your paper, create them artificially in the main text with superscripted note calls like this1) or2) this3). Place the text of the notes before the bibliography, if any, and the signature, and we will take care of the formatting.
Notes
- Texte de la note 1.
- Texte de la note 2.
- Texte de la note 3.
5) Présentation de la bibliographie éventuelle // If you wish to add a bibliography
2014, « Chapitre d’ouvrage collectif », in J.-M.
The NABU notes are intended for a specialized audience. We do not think it is useful to explain what AHw, CAD, or what acronyms JCS, JNES, MC etc. refer to. If, however, you want to add a bibliography, use the quotation marks and abbreviations as usual in your language.
Always use the usual acronyms and never indicate commercial publishers. Keep it short! Present the bibliography as below:
Author-in-small-Caps, A., 2003, “Title of article in a journal that is to be abridged”, RA 97, p. 215-317.
2014, “Chapter”, in J.-M. Durand (ed.), Proceedings of the imaginary colloquium which if any is part of a series that is to be abbreviated, OBO 973, Freiburg – Göttingen, p. 12-123.
Author, B., 2035, Title of the imaginary book which possibly is part of a series which is to be abbreviated, BBVO 67, Gladbeck.
6) Signature
