At first taste you get some sweetness (dark fruit, vanilla) that fades to a nice spice note. Adding a few drops of water opens the fruit but decreases the punch. With E.H. Taylor’s other whiskeys (Single Barrel, Rye, and Barrel Proof) all costing in the same ballpark as Four Grain, it probably proves that this is priced on the low side for a limited and unique release.
